Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) has resumed its large-scale eviction drive in Shampur, reclaiming eight acres of government land previously encroached upon by land mafias. The operation, which saw 187 houses demolished, aims to facilitate an affordable housing project. Officials emphasized the legal process followed and vowed to continue until all encroachments are cleared for planned city development.
